How it works
If you start all your Amazon.com shopping through any of the links on this site, FPT will receive 5% of the proceeds. You help us even more by buying books listed on this site; so let us know the books you'd like to see listed!
To make sure that a portion of all your Amazon purchases goes to benefit FPT:
- Add a bookmark that version of Amazon's front page. (To add a bookmark in Netscape, hit Control-D. To add a bookmark in Explorer, click on "Favorites", then "Add to favorites.")
- When shopping at Amazon in the future, use that bookmark to begin.
Browse through the titles. When you click on the words "place an order", you will be sent to Amazon.com, and given a chance to "add it to your shopping cart." Then come back here via the "Bookstore" link in the menu on the left and continue shopping! Your shopping cart will still be waiting for you at Amazon, and you can always go back to it by clicking "back." If you want to shop for books that aren't on our list, use the "search Amazon" button below. Your books will go in the same shopping cart, you save on postage by consolidating orders, and FPT will receive a portion of the proceeds. Clicking "Place an order" doesn't commit you; you'll still have plenty of chances to change your mind.
Other options
You may also want to purchase books from your local independent bookdealer via BookSense, or directly from the publishers. Note: we are not affiliated with Booksense or with the publishers, and purchases made in either of these fashions do not provide revenues to FPT.
If you would like to receive e-mail updates when new books in political theory are released and listed here, send us your e-mail address, with the subject "Book Updates." This is not an automated server, and your e-mail address will not be given, loaned, rented, or sold to other organizations. Not using an automated server allows us to e-mail you the names of the new books, rather than simply a message that "the page you asked us to monitor has been updated."
